Altonian Beer Bash 2026
a celebration of modern beer
Ten Tun Brew House is bringing together progressive breweries from around the country for another Beer Bash. We're focusing on the new wave of small independent breweries, much like ourselves: all keg, all fresh, and all delicious. Just as the brewers intended.
Whether you're a seasoned craft beer enthusiast or just starting to explore the world of modern keg beers, you'll find something to love.
Expect hazy IPAs bursting with hops, crisp lagers, dark beers and experimental brews pushing the boundaries of flavor. We'll be complementing the beer with quality local food vendors and our usual eclectic musical selection.
One session. Over 20 beers. Zero tokens - the ticket includes your beer!
FOOD
Our next door neighbours and perveyors of amazing food will be setting up a street food shop at the Beer Bash. If you've not been to Dill before, get yourself booked in.
Louise will be specially selecting artisan British cheeses and pairing them with some of the beers we'll be serving on the day. Cheese and beer pairing is definitely a thing.
Another local independant. Fill-Up is all about zero-waste, which is something we're keen to adopt wherever possible. They'll be on hand to provide delicious bar snacks to keep that thirst primed the whole day.
Entertainment
Ten Tun Head Brewer will be hosting guest brewers from this corner of the industry to discuss beer and all things brewing. The perfect opportunity for amateur brewers to ask the pros for advice.
Additional entertainment will be announced nearer the time - all included with the ticket.
Access
The venue is Alton Community Centre (Amery St, Alton GU34 1HN), which has disabled access throughout.

Parking is available immediately outside the venue.

Alton Train Station is a 12 minute walk.

The nearest bus stop is a 2 minute walk.

If arriving by hot air balloon, we'd recommend landing at Flood Meadows (unless they've built houses on it by then).
Behaviour considered inappropriate, unruly or deemed to be uncomfortable for other attendees will not be tolerated. Management reserves the right to eject people thought to be too drunk, using/supplying illegal drugs, or wearing Nickelback/Morrissey tshirts.
FAQ
Will there be soft drinks, or spirits/wine/cider?
There will be soft drinks, one or two ciders, alcohol-free beers, and a limited gin offering available (all included in the ticket price). We won't have wine available.
Do we need to bring a glass?
No, we will be issuing each guest a special event glass upon arrival.
Are there ticket options for non-drinkers, drivers, etc?
Sorry but there's only one ticket price for the event. We've had to carefully account for cost-covering and good value, whilst being limited on capacity.
Will there be live music?
Due to us having the courtyard opened up we aren't able to put on a band. There will be entertainment in another form though. More on that later.
What are the age limits?
The minimum age for this event is 18. If you look under 25, we strongly recommend that you bring a form of photo ID to ensure you can prove this. Failure to do so may result in you being refused entry to the venue without a refund.
Do i get in for free if i'm an influencer?
No, the venue entrance isn't wide enough for your ego.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, but they must be kept on a lead at all times.
Will there be any gluten-free options?
Until we know the exact beer line-up we can't confirm how many, but there will definitely be some on tap. We will also have some GF cider and gin available.
Will I need money on the day?
All drinks are included in the price of the ticket. Food and merch is additional (card-only).
Can we smoke/vape there?
No smoking or vaping indoors. You may do so in the courtyard or outside the venue entrance. If you want to use the entrance, please leave your drink inside.
Will the weather be nice?
Yeah sure why not.
